ready for deployment

Today project FUZZ was completed and it is now ready for deployment to any urban street soldier. This bike rides like an over-sized BMX bike and is a classic OG cruiser.

Stand 5 feet away from your screen and find the frame.

a new toy

After some hairy night riding on my Trek, I finally got a great light combo kit (front and back) from Chelmsford Cyclery.

Lowell Kids getting wild in Beantown

It was an epic day of laughs, falls, bicycle collisions and a dude playing an awesome musical instrument. Timbo Slice, Joey 2 Nuts and myself shredded Boston with a mission to get buck.

My fellow bikers/bladers

Joey 2 Nuts and Donal Heller from "The Hurdy-Gurdy Band", this dude was playing some nice Irish folk music with his unique instrument.

This is the result of dumping a road bike at 15mph, at least he lives to skate another day.

Tuesday skate sesh in LA

A few pics from today's sesh with Timbo Slice and myself. We managed to stumble across a very secretive sk8board spot, hella excluded from the main drag.

First Friday Night Blade of May

blade photos taken by Matt Shannon
Before I did this, as I was strapping up the blades, I met a homeless man. He told me he liked my blades and asked if I knew any good places to sleep. The man informed me that he had full blown aids and could catch pneumonia and die if he chose an unsuitable location.

Grabbed Cliffhanger (stall with front wheels above the wall and the other wheels hanging below) on a crusty spot near my favorite pizza joint, Leones, in Somerville.

Bova's Bakery in the North End was stocked with four chocolate cakes I hadn't seen before. Here's two of them; chocolate cheesecake and chocolate dipped chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.

RIP Screw Banks

Very depressing inward caps. Immediately after snapping this photo, a security car (that I didn't even know existed) rolled up on us and said I better not be taking pictures of the structure next to this or I could wind up in the FBI database.

project fuzz is back

So my dad has been working on Project Fuzz recently and I'm pumped to see this bike slowly come together. This is just a mock up of the bike so far, still some parts on order and work to be done but this thing will be a badass ride.

back at it

After weeks of endless bicycle work, it's time to get back on the blades and have fun. Past 2 days I've brought my camera out just to mess around, well I grabbed a few good pics I want to share. Also, I need to find a cake spot in Lowell fast, I had to settle for ice cream the past 2 days after blading.

torn apart

I demolished my rear derailleur by hitting a rocky single track berm with too much speed. I had to walk about 1 mile out of the trails back to the car. Thanks to Chris and Ben for walking it out with me.

a must needed item

You can never have enough water while skating or riding. This small looking camelbak holds a ton of water, great invention.
