I like the color red

After months of skating some Razor liners in my Nimhs I thought it was time for a change. So I put my Vicious liners back in and right away I got all the flex back in the skate, they felt so solid compared to before. Over the weekend I got some red laces and a few paint markers to spruce my blades up.

a new addition to the collection

Last week Ben Price and his girlfriend Katie came up to my house in search of a woman's cruiser. After digging out a few bikes to show them, Katie was interested in 2 bicycles. I was very happy to hook her up with a 3 speed and a single-speed cruiser in exchange for this Specialized which was too big for her. This mountain bike just happens to be my size and I love older mountain bikes. I will gladly hookup any blader looking for a bicycle. Viva la BSCC movement!

a wintery ride

Let the fun begin

a lot of ice

some hard packed snow also sucked to ride on

I found some dryness

friday and saturday night skating

Ben returned from Chicago, where he found a new edifice to move into February 1st, then banked to stall to strum the guitar to frontside cess down the bank. Tom recorded the stunt with Keith's camera.

Orange Crush

I wanted to powdercoat a bicycle that would stand out from the others and I think I picked the right color this time.

Car Spa

the ill backpack

This Nashbar bag is the ultimate skating/bicycling bag because it fits my Nimhs and there's still plenty of room for other gear. There's also an attachment to strap the bag onto rear bicycle rack mounts to make commuting a breeze.

the bag is jammed full of stuff for a weekend of blading in Boston

my stuff all over Hutcho's floor

where the magic happens

2010 is here and I am starting it off with a bang. I'm in the process of completing my 2nd project, project Fuzz, just have a few things to order then I can start putting it back together. Today I started project #3 and made some great progress. I took a steel Raleigh Grand Prix frame and grinded off all the cable guides. I ended up putting a small hole in the frame but thankfully I know how to weld. After welding the hole and filling it in, I was able to start the sanding process on #3. I still don't know what sort of paint job #3 will get but it will be one of kind.

texas curse

start here: - dylan
then make sure to go here: - drrty byl & co
and definitely don't neglect this: - brady johnston
or especially this: - jordan smith

jordan smith made it. "texas curse" refers to texans always claiming they're making a video but no one ever completing one. jordan & dylan & brady & richard, they're all the next generation of texas people - i skated with them some, but they didn't quite exist yet. feels good seeing them all grown up. drrty byl & mik & jake is my friends; drrty apparently got a rocket lit in his ass since i left - much fire...

Tom's Rail

Tom and I were discussing how it would be awesome if we could organize a weekly sesh where everyone gathers at a garage with their rails and what not. Let us know if you're down.
