Over a month ago, I scored a 1985 Team Fuji 12spd bike with Suntour Superbe Pro derailleurs, which is a massive plus. As I was cleaning up the frame I noticed it looked like chrome underneath the blue and yellow paint. I took a risk and ripped the entire bike apart so I could strip the frame down to the chrome finish. Luckily for me I work for an automotive refinishing company and have access to some special machines so stripping the paint was simple. Rebuilt it back up as a 12speed, everything was degreased and overhauled. Only non-original parts are the Modolo Aero stem,SPD pedals, saddle and the bull-horn bars.
Here's a before pic.
