Skateable Art Elements proposed for Somerville Playgrounds
There was a community meeting Monday, March 15, 2010, sponsored by Mayor Curtatone and Alderman Taylor, to discuss the renovation of the Dickerman and Morse-Kelly Playgrounds in Somerville, MA, preferred designs for both parks were presented.
Designs by CBA Landscape Architects http://www.cbaland.com/mainmenu.html
You can contact the Landscape Project Manager, Ellen Schneider, at (617) 625-6600, x2529 or email eschneider@somervillema.gov
Feel free to give her input such as: I would prefer to see skateable art elements at both playgrounds and find them extremely important. Skating is very popular and kids need a safe and productive place to do it.

This bike can convert the energy of the wheel cycle into power and automatically store it in the battery which is used for tail light at night and brake light. Most of all it can always recharge or supply power for your music player attached to the adjustable steering.
