Ru$$ Money vs Mother Nature
Today I brought my camera out mountain biking with me to the Dracut State forest and shot a few pics of mother nature.
flying down this dirt road is a blast, climbing back up isn't fun
a random bridge (in the summer it was a swamp)
yeah the trail had a bit of water
the trail shoots you out to this 7 foot rock drop
the hell with that rock drop I took the easier way down
my ride for the trails
I didn't end the ride with cake, I ended it with climbing this rock hill on my bike to finish the trail.

PROJECT FUZZ
Project Fuzz is the codename for my second bike project which is going to be an urban all terrain single speed. I found myself an old Royce Union from the mid 1980's to be the victim of my experiment. I started by stripping the bike down to the frame and fork, lets say whatever part that didn't come off on it's own got smashed off with a hammer. It took me a little under an hour to strip everything off the frame besides the seat-post which is jammed in the frame. So after I remove the seat-post, fork and bottom bracket this frame will be ready to get sandblasted.
a very odd looking stem

Lowell's 1st BSCC
Today, the 1st ever BSCC in Lowell went down. Timbo Slice and I road our 2 wheelers around downtown Lowell and other places skating random things. We bladed the wonderful b-ball ledge and the b-ball hoops are now up which makes the ledge a little bit more interesting to skate. They also added 4 plastic benches which are a blast for lines. After skating a few other dick around spots we decided to call it a day and started searching for a bakery for some cake. At the time of the day, no bakeries were open so I hit up the local corner store for some amazing Little Debbie Zebra Cakes, they hit the spot.

some new benches
some rocks
a tight squeeze
a random planter we bladed
our choice of cake for the day hahaha

the new re-designed Nimh souls
Got these bad boys today, funny thing is, I ordered white souls and they sent gray but oh well it's all good. I love the slender look compared to the original ones and they come with a small pre-groove which is all you need to get started. The pre-groove allowed me to skip the whole break in process on a ledge and go straight to blading rails right away. I can't wait to skate a sick ledge with these.

a matching pair
I finally got around to working on these, some older Parkway cruisers made by Huffy, pretty much single speed with a coaster brake and city tires. On the Men's bike, I added some 26x1.75 mountain bike tires which ride over anything and the Women's bike has some 26x1.50 city tires. These are the O.G's of the single speed generation.

Lowell Thursday Night Roll
Below you will gaze upon the new Moody Buttery B-ball Ledge in Lowell. We are fortunate enough to be able to blade the ledge before a basket ball hoop is placed beside it. The spot has potential for lines with two ledge hits and rock rolling to the far side of the court.
